Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using KernelAI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use KernelAI for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these terms.

You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, or decompile the App
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to extract or redistribute the AI models
• Use the App in a way that could damage or impair our services

AI Models & Content

KernelAI provides access to open-source AI models. These models are:

• Provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• Subject to the original model creators' licenses
• Not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for any purpose
• May produce inappropriate, biased, or incorrect outputs

You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy and appropriateness of AI-generated content. Do not rely on AI outputs for critical decisions without human verification.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the App to generate illegal, harmful, or abusive content
• Not attempt to circumvent any usage limitations or security measures
• Take responsibility for all content you create using the App
• Maintain the security of your device and data

Intellectual Property

KernelAI and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Khadiri Anes and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The open-source AI models included in the App are subject to their respective licenses and are credited to their original creators.

Privacy & Data

As stated in our Privacy Policy, KernelAI operates entirely offline. All data processing happens on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your conversations or personal information. You are solely responsible for backing up your data, as we cannot recover lost information.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KHADIRI ANES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Device Compatibility

KernelAI requires iOS 16 or later. Performance varies based on device hardware. Older devices may experience slower performance with larger models. We reserve the right to change minimum requirements in future updates.

Updates & Changes

We may update the App, add or remove features, or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may also modify these terms at any time by posting updated terms. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. All data stored locally on your device will remain on your device—we cannot access or delete it.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
